Hours

75 hours per pay period. Will include "on call" and holiday rotation.

Education

Individual will possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent thereof, accompanied by a two-year Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, or a Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology as appropriate.

Experience

Some s upervisory skills necessary for supervision of Lab Technicians.. Decision making is essential for the smooth operation and function of the department.

Qualifications

Medical Lab Technician applicants must be registered as a Technician in Medical Technology through the State or National Registry Association.

Medical Technologist applicants must be registered as a Technologist in Medical Technology through the State or National Registry Association.

Must have the ability to demonstrate knowledge and competence specific to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Must be available for "on call" and able to respond within a 20 minute time frame.
